Going to the Park in December

The weather has been so mild this December - which is exciting when you have a house full of little ones.  We were able to go the park the other afternoon with the cousins.  What FUN!!!  We went around 4pm, and of course it is dark by 5pm, so by the time we were heading home, we got to look at Christmas lights.

I am sure the snow will come, but right now we (or at least mom) is enjoying the warmer temperatures!

Big Girl

Our Littlest is now enjoying her time in the jumper.
She isn't moving much in it yet, but just loves the idea of being able to stand up on her own.

Feeding Time

Big Brother wanted to help feed Little Girl her bottle.  He did a great job.

Little Miss wanted a turn too.  She did a good job also.

Second Christmas Celebration - December 24th

Our Littlest got an adorable pink outfit from her Grammie.

Once again, what would Christmas be without pictures!

First with Grammie.

Then our family.

First Christmas Celebration December 23rd

It woud not be Christmas time without pictures!

Just the kids!
Next, add the grandparents.

Finally, add everyone!

First Christmas Celebration - December 23rd

Little Man was more than thrilled to receive this gift.
As you'll see in the next few BLOG postings, Little Man LOVES to wear his new uniform. Thanks grandma and grandpa.

Little Miss LOVES her new purple outfits.

There was a lot of people celebrating Christmas together; Little Miss isn't always sure about all the commotion. However, there are two places she wanted to be; either by the babies or the puppy, she LOVES them both.

Cousin's Visiting

Our Littlest got to enjoy some time with her cousin from WY.  They both have grown so much since they saw each other back in October.

A White Christmas?

No, not this year.  But we did get a beautiful snowfall just days before Christmas.  Little Man loved going outside and trying to catch a snow flake.

Gifts From North Carolina

Thank you for the gifts.  The children LOVED them!

Five Months Old

Our Littlest turned Five Months Old on 12.17.11
She weighed in at 18.86 lbs and is 27 inches long.
Yes, she is a healthy and absolutely adorable little girl!

She is so proud of herself now that she can stand up (with mom's help of course).
And we have discovered our tongue and love to show it off in pictures.

Fun Time With Daddy

The kids LOVE their play time with daddy.

The horsey ride never gets old.
Especially when daddy not only rides them around the room, but he then throws them off onto the sofa.

Little Miss didn't want our Littlest to feel left out (yes, she is under there).
I look over and all I hear is Little Miss saying over and over again to her baby sister
"I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!  I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!  I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

After Naptime

Little Man and Little Miss loved to go and say Hi to our Littlest when she wakes up from nap.

Just another picture that reminds me how very blessed I am!

Who Needs Toys?

Little Man and Little Miss found it more fun this day to dump the
toys out of the tote and use the tote as a "toy."

Christmas Time

We have been enjoying going through our Advent Calender as a family as we prepare for Christmas.  On the day we read about the Shepherds, Little Man got to dress up as a Shepherd and Little Miss dressed up as Mary.  Daddy even got involved and was a shepherd too.
The children loved dressing up and we even made a decent attempt to act out the nativity story - it lasted only minutes, but mom thought it went well for a four and very busy two year old.

Of course, someone had to play baby Jesus, and since Little Man said our Littlest was disqualified since she is a girl, one of Little Miss's dolls won the roll.  Little Man helped mom build a manager to place "baby Jesus" in.

Finally Dad and Little Man painted a star to place on the tree to remind us of the Bright Star God placed in the sky and also that Jesus is our Bright Morning Star!

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches.
I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."  Revelation 22:16

Cousins

Girls, Girls, Girls....

While Aunt Fell enjoys the two boys at Library time on Thursday mornings, I get to spend time with these three precious girls!

Big Girl

Our Littlest is certainly growing up already.  She is almost five months old and changing and growing everyday.

Mommy was impressed too!

Christmas Cookies

Little Man and Little Miss enjoyed helping mom decorate some sugar cookies for Christmas.  Do you notice something similar about the two of them in these photos?

When we concentrate, out come our tongues!

Camping in December

The cousins went camping together last week...in our family room.

We set up their tents and their camping chairs.  We sat in front of the "fire" and told stories.  We had hot dogs for dinner and enjoyed some BIG marshmallows for dessert.  They had a blast!

Christmas Photos

I am sure most of you have by this time received our Christmas card/e-mail and letter.
Here are a few more photos that we enjoyed!

Little Miss loves her brother!!

Doesn't she look sweet?!  She is sweet...but she is a little funny too...

Big Brother and Big Sister call Little Girl bubbles sometimes...this picture might tell why.

Do It All By Myself

Little Miss continues to be quite persistent in doing things "all by herself."  There really isn't much that mom and dad can help her with.  She is even determined to tuck herself in at night, climb in and out of the tub, and read her stories "all by herself."

Today she picked out her outfit "all by herself" and then picked out ALL the hair accessories to put into her hair.  She looked quite adorable :)

To get the full picture of all the bows she picked out, here is a top of the head shot...

Putting Up the Christmas Tree

We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year.  The Thanksgiving weekend always brings the excitement of putting up the Christmas tree.  Dad and Little Man went out and picked out a tree for us.  Little Man had high hopes of going out into the Forest in Wyoming and cutting down a tree.  Dad had a different idea - Menard's :)

What's more fun than running around the Christmas tree as dad tries to put the lights on?

Once we got the lights on, Little Man and Little Miss were excited to help put the ornaments up.

Little Man did a great job.  He worked really hard at decorating the back of the tree, because he was convinced we needed ornaments ALL the way around.

After we decorated the tree, we enjoyed "picnic" dinner by the tree.  Dinner consisted of finger foods - fruits, veges, cheese, little smokies, and goodies such as these.

Finally we got to open our ornament boxes and enjoy looking at ornaments from years past and open a few new ones that will remind us of 2011.  This year mom found a dinosaur ornament for every member of the family.  For those who have been around the kids these past few months, you know how much they loves dinosaurs.
