Incredible Pizza
The other evening we went as a family to a place in town called "Incredible Pizza." Similar to Chuck E Cheese for those of you who are familiar with these.
The kids had a blast playing different games with daddy. Little Man even got to ride on Go Karts with his dad.
This ride below is where you watch on screen of a rollercoaster ride and then the seats move and air blows on you to help make you feel like you really are on the ride.
Little Miss enjoyed bowling.

Swimming With Friends
Today the kids got to go swimming at a local YMCA with some friends. This Y has a slide they can go down, which they love. The boys have so much fun together.
Not sure which boy this is flying out of the slide:
Little Miss had a blast too:
Kitchen Help
I am blessed to have a lot of help in the kitchen when I make meals. The other day I was making hamburgers and both children were excited to help me make them. Little Man did a great job:
Little Miss put all her might into it:
This was her "surprised" face after she mashed the hamburger and then got to see what it looked like:
The next day I was making homemade Pizza
and back came my help again:

Funny Boys
The cousins were over tonight to play as one dad works late on Mondays and the other dad had meetings in M-Town. I am very blessed to have a sister live so close by for evenings such like this.
The boys were off playing in one room and came out dressed up. I was able to get a few fun pictures:
Tough Guys
Then showing their muscles:
Then being silly:
They were doing quite well posing for me, but it didn't take long and cousin asked his Aunt "can we go back and play now?"
After Naptime
After arriving home from our trip to AL, I had been in need of a little extra sleep to catch back up. The other afternoon when I got up from a nap, I walked into the hallway and was surprised to see this:
Both Little Man and Little Miss's doors were open. Usually if Little Miss wakes up early (which happens quite often, she is not a long nap taker) but if she wakes up early, she comes to see me. Not this day though, instead I found her:
Reading to her big brother. Little Man was still asleep, but she was enjoying reading him a book any ways.

Kids Taking Pictures
Little Man got a hold of my camera and did a good job taking some pictures.
Little Miss wanted a try at taking a picture too. So of course Little Man "posed" and she took it:

AL Trip Part Three - At the Park
While Daddy attends the conference, mom and the children and some friends enjoy the nice AL weather in February and usually go to the park.
All three of the children LOVE to swing!
Where is Little Miss? She does love to swing, but she also loves to....
CLIMB!
Don't worry mom - I can do it "all by myself"
She is always there to help me and her little sister too

Alabama
While in Alabama for the conference, we are blessed to stay at a host families house. We have stayed with the same family the past two years and are so blessed by their generousity and kindness. The couple has three children who now have their own children - so they have toys for their grandchildren that our children love to play with.
Our children quickly found something to dress up in; Little Man has no problem "posing" for the camera.
The couple lives on some land, so we were able to enjoy going for a nice walk. Little Man wanted to race daddy up the hill...once Little Miss saw them going, she was off to catch "the boys." "Wait for me boys" you often hear her say.
Thank you Host Family for a wonderful stay and your amazing hospitality. We are so grateful!

Seven Months Old
Our Littlest turned seven months old on February 17th. She continues to warm our hearts with her bright smile and many giggles. She is now saying "dada dada" which has the kids excited and her daddy too!
She wasn't so happy when mom tried to lay her on her belly for a picture.
TRIP TO MEMPHIS
We just arrived home from our six day trip to Memphis, TN to visit the Zoo and then to Muscle Shoals, AL for the church conference. We had a wonderful trip and are thankful to God for watching over us and keeping us safe.
Our stop in Memphis included 1) Time for the kids to play in the pool with daddy
(FYI- Little Miss started off in a tube, but once she saw Big Brother swimming in the pool with his life jacket, she wanted a try. However, when daddy took her out of the tube, she didn't even want the life jacket at first - she said she could swim "All by herself" - she quickly realized she would like the life jacket.)
2) A Visit to the Zoo
And 3) Out for BBQ with Friends

Overnight at Grandma and Grandpa's
Little Man and Little Miss were SO excited. They were going to stay the night at Grandma and Grandpa's. Of course we had our bags packed first thing in the morning, even though they weren't leaving until after nap time. They were ready and waiting on the steps for Grandpa and Grandma to arrive.
They stayed the night and had so much fun - thanks Grandma and Grandpa.
Of course they came home with some new fun things.
Little Man even convinced Daddy to dress up like him. When I asked Little Man what they were dressed up as, he said "something funny mom."
Little Man sure loves his daddy!

All Smiles to BIG Tears
Our Littlest is always SO happy when she wakes up. We usually receive nothing but smiles when we go in to see her.
She is quite the happy little girl. However the other morning while I was taking a shower, she was crying for me. I couldn't believe the BIG tears she had under her eyes when I went to see her - so precious.
Another Adventure
Little Man and Little Miss were off on another adventure the other morning while playing together. They love to pack up their bags and go on "trips" together.

Releasing Energy
One way in the Winter that we try to release some of our energy (especially for our Little Miss) is listening to some fun CD's and dancing to them. This CD is called Silly Willy (Thanks Great Aunt Darlene)....the kids love following the directions of the songs.
The Duck Dance
The Frog Dance
The Kangaroo Dance
And of course, just run around the room as fast as you can dance...

My Little Helper
Little Miss loves to help mommy. The other day she was helping me make chicken nuggets.
She likes to have fun and can be a little goofy sometimes too.
