Little Entertainer

Our Littlest has become quite the entertainer lately.  She sure loves hearing her big brother and big sister laugh at her.  So, when she finds something that works, she runs with it.

Today it was a placemat over her face.  What can get more funny than this.  (Remember, imagine big brother and big sister sitting across the table from her laughing and laughing and laughing)

Forth of July Crafts

The other morning the children and I decided to make some 4th of July crafts.  They had fun painting and gluing and cutting and everything else these crafts entailed. 

As you see by the picture we made flags, fireworks with their handprints in the middle and rockets with candy in the middle.  You can guess that their favorite were the rockets - with the candy!

The flags they hung on the door handles to their bedrooms, the rockets are sitting in the middle of our table and here is what we did with the fireworks.

Peaceful!

Our Little Man has been such a good sleeper from a young age and still continues to take good naps most days.  He is able to sleep through most any thing - even a little sister running into his room to wake him up.  I couldn't help but snap a picture the other day after naptime before he got up.

His stuffed puppy sure was loved this day!

Little Miss was playing with her little sister when I heard Little Sister start crying.  I walk over to observe Little Miss touching her sister in a way that didn't look kind.  So, Little Miss and I head to have a conversation.  When I ask Little Miss if she was being kind to her sister she says:

"I was mom.  I was petting *Little Sister* because she is a bunny." 

She then smiles and laughs and looks at me with those eyes saying "How can you discipline that mom?"

I do cherish these moments -

you are never shy of a smile when Little Miss is with you.

Never too young

The children help me to the chores around the house.  The other day Little Man was helping unload the dishwasher when our littlest wanted to help.  She was so excited to be helping her big brother and to be receiving the encouragment from him. 

Yes, for those who follow this Blog it will not suprise you that Little Man has yet another "costume" on.  This day it was his cape and mask (the mask was in his other hand)

Swinging

Daddy put two swings up in our backyard and the girls LOVE them!  So does mom - because both girls are more than happy to sit and swing for quite awhile.

It was nearing bedtime while we swinging and our Littlest was getting tired - these pictures say it all:

Pool!

Daddy decided to purchase the kids a pool for the backyard.  They love it and it feels wonderful on these wonderful warm days. 

Big Brother and Big Sister were showing Little Sister love as they poured water for her to splash.

Walking?

Our littlest might be our first baby not to walk before she is one.  Time will tell, she has a few weeks yet, but she isn't showing interest like her big brother and sister did.

However, the other evening she enjoyed using this push toy to move around the family room.

Most days though, she is just content to crawl.

SO BIG!

Our Littlest was quite the entertainer the other night at dinner as we taught her how to raise her arms when we say "So big."  Once she caught on, her older two siblings couldn't stop saying it.

She was quite proud of herself for accomplishing this and LOVED all the praise she was getting from her two siblings.  This smile below tells it all as she clapped for herself.

After awhile she was putting on quite the show and being somewhat dramatic with her "SO BIG's"

If you can picture in your mind Big Brother and Big Sister sitting across the table from her, laughing and encouraging her on - it was quite the show.

I gave the kids buckets with cleaning supplies in them and they were more than excited to help!  I love their enthusiasm and I am so grateful to get to be at home with these two and have their help throughout the day!

11 Months Old

Our Littlest turned 11 months old on the 17th.  She continues to be our happy little girl.  She is still crawling everywhere and at this point doesn't show much interest in walking yet.  She has a smile for most people and is so easy to make laugh.  She is such a blessing to our family.

Little Miss was ANXIOUSLY waiting her turn to be in the photos.  So when I gave her the green light, she could not wait to jump up and give her little sister a hug. 

The Kitty's

Little Miss LOVED Aunt Mandy's cats.  She would have taken one home if we would have let her.  One thing I love about Little Miss is that when she loves something (or someone) -

SHE LOVES THEM!

I was busy with our Littlest when Aunt Mandy took Little Miss back down to visit the kitty's again.  Aunt Mandy said that while she was watering her garden Little Miss would pick up the kitty's and carry them back and forth from the garden to their food - over and over again.  Thankfully these kitty's were quite patient and kind. 

What did our Littlest think of the kitty's?  I think the two pictures below answer this question.

Visit To Uncle John's and Aunt Mandy's

We were blessed to have a wonderful trip and fun visit in NE!  Aunt Mandy and Uncle John's new home is beautiful.  I love this picture of Little Miss enjoying the view  - the picture doesn't do the view justice - it is gorgeous!



Here is another neat picture showing the view from their home.  Of course Little Man and Little Miss loved helping their Aunt water her flowers...and her grass...and her house...and whatever Aunt Mandy would let them spray water at.

Little Miss had her first experience bottle feeding a calf.

Our Littlest enjoyed sitting the "pool" with her pregnant Aunt Mandy. 

And she enjoyed kicking in the water while her daddy held onto her.  We forgot the tube - I think she would have enjoyed floating around in it.

Baby!

Big Sister really enjoys playing with her babies. 

Now Little Sister is enjoying "cuddling" with her babies too.  It is so sweet to watch.

Three in a Box

There is nothing more exciting than playing in a box. 

All three climbed in for a photo!  I LOVE THESE KIDS! 

Have I mentioned lately how truly blessed I am to be at home with them!

I couldn't be more grateful!

Full Time Crawler

I am not sure I mentioned that our Littlest is now a full time crawler. 

She loves it.  However, this means no more sitting still. 

She is not content to be confined any more - she wants to be on the move!
