Waterpark

The kids and I went to the waterpark with Aunt and Uncle Fell and kids this week. 

They have a fun wave pool which the kids love playing in.  Little Man is in the way back of this photo having fun with his Uncle T! 

The weather has been perfect for pool days  - as it has been quite warm.

The kids all love playing and splashing and having fun in the water.

First Dentist Appointment

Little Man had his first dentist appointment this past week. 

Daddy took him and said that he did a wonderful job!

Buzz Cut

Little Man has a new hair cut - as his daddy calls it - a buzz cut.

Busy Little Girl

Our now one year old is quite the busy little girl.  She loves climbing!  She is quite proud of herself because she can now get on top of the toy room chairs all by herself.

Happy First Birthday

Our Littlest turned 1 year old yesterday! 

Big Brother and Big Sister helped mom and Grammie make a cake for her.

She was trying to blow out her candle - very cute.

And then she ENJOYED her cake.  She had it everywhere -

actually, I think some might still be up her nose.

Daddy and Dinosaur

What more could Little Man ask for then time with his Daddy building a dinosaur?

Deeno the Dinosaur is what they named it and he now resides in our playroom.

Saturday Evening at Land

The men had a very busy and productive weekend at the land.  After working hard on Friday evening, they went back out and worked again on Saturday afternoon while the kids were at home napping.  After nap time, the mom's and the kids went back out and we all enjoyed a camp fire by the river.

Our Littlest enjoyed some time in the pack and play. 

It was new scenery for her to enjoy.

The men roasted some hot dogs over the fire for us to eat - YUM!

After eating, we went for a walk down by the river.  Little Miss was all about her daddy this evening.

How many times do you think we said "Not too far out *Little Miss*?"  She has no fear and LOVES adventure.

We ended the evening with Smores! 

We had a wonderful time at the land

and are so grateful to be able to enjoy God's creation.

We are so thankful for the men for all their hard work - it will not be long and we will be able to stay the night

in the new renovated cabin.

Friday Evening at Land

This past weekend we spent some time at the land.  Friday evening the men worked hard on the "cabin," while the mom's and kids just hung around (helping when we could).

Little Miss, like usual, found something to climb and swing on.

She then took her friend for a "ride. "

 Finally, she got to go on a tractor ride with her daddy.

Little Man and his friend are always finding new things to dig up, new things to tie ropes around or something to hit at with a stick.

Calm!

Little Miss is usually going 110 miles per hour.  She is full of energy, full of ideas and full of adventure.  So the other day when I heard no noise from the playroom which she was in by herself, I of course needed to check and see what she was doing. 

To my suprise, she was sitting calmly.

I thought once I opened the door she would jump up and run to me.  She stayed reading her book; but gave me a slight smile because she knew then that I was taking her picture.

Looking In

Now that we have a new playroom, Little Man and Little Miss have been excited to go in and play.  Every now and then I will go peak in.

It has been so sweet to see what they are doing.

Little Man dresses up in his "work" clothes, sits at his work "desk," gets out his computer and phone and makes calls - just like his daddy.  He told me the other day that he works for all the companies that his daddy does.  When I peaked in, this is what I saw:

that is because his daddy wears a ring too - his wedding ring)

Little Miss was preparing lunch for her family.

Where was Little Sister?  She still needs to be out by mommy!

Moving Day

This past weekend was busy in our home.  We moved!  We moved Daddy's office to the basement and are now using his old office for a playroom.  Everyone is excited about the new set up.

Little Miss helped Grandpa prepare Daddy's office to be moved. 

Can you see the excitement on the kid's faces - they love their new room.

As you can see from the pictures above, I moved their dress up clothes in to this room.  It has only been five days and EVERY day they are dressed up in something new.

First Birthday Coming Up

Our Littlest's first birthday is coming up on July 17th!  For her birthday I have been asking family members to write a memory with her or a note of encouragement to put in her baby book.  It has been so special to read what everyone has written.

This morning I had Little Man and Little Miss write something for her.  I typed as they shared - I didn't add any thing or help them.  Their notes are so special - I just had to share.

Little Man wrote:

Dear Little Sister, I love you so much.  I don’t want to send you away to anybody, so you can be my sister forever. 

 I like to play with that bus with you and that the train, I remember that too much.  You like to wrestle with me –I like it when you wrestle with me.  You play peek a boo – it is so funny.  You try to put my socks on – it is funny too. I love it when you give me hugs.

Littles Miss said:

Dear my sister, I love you so much.  I love to give you kisses and hugs and tickles.  I love you so much.  Love, Big Sister

This may not seem like any thing special - but this is exactly what Little Miss said and it is 100% completely true.  For those of you who have spent time with Little Miss around her little sister, the above note will make you smile also. 

Waiting for Grammie

Grammie was coming to visit.  The children love their Grammie so much and couldn't wait for her to arrive.  All three of them sat together as their waited for the purple mini to pull into our driveway.

Grandpa Time

This Grandpa has so many fun ideas for the kids.  They love their grandpa so much and look forward to their weekly time with him.

This weeks project:  writing with feathered "pens."  They dipped their feathers into blueberry juice and wrote with them.  So much fun!

New Climber

We have a new climber in the home.  She is quite proud of herself that she can pull herself up on things.  Not real interest in walking yet - but she makes her way around the home quite quickly just by crawling.

Boys!

These two boys have so much fun playing at the land while their daddy's work hard to fix up the cabins for us ladies.  The other day it was sitting on top of a pile of wood pretending they would never be able to get down.

Three Little Girls

The other day we spent part of the day at the amusement park with friends. 

Little Miss and her cousin were happy to include their little friend on their hand holding adventure.  This little friend is so sweet and just goes along as these two little ladies pull her.
