It was so fun going to the park last evening (1/5) and seeing it full of parents and their children. I have never experienced this in January. The smile on everyone's faces was priceless - you could tell we were all thinking and feeling the same thing - JOY! Some of the people had short sleeves on and it honestly was probably warm enough to do so (in the 60's).
Our Littlest even got to enjoy her first time in a swing at the park. She sat for awhile and enjoyed watching all the kids playing.
This morning (1/6) we went to park again with the cousins and some friends. The children ran around for an hour and then we went for a nice walk. When we got back home, Teacher Fell had the children draw a picture of the tree in our yard for Science class - they loved it.
